The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently visiting the Fernie two Group Hall in Mpuluzi to render companies to your community.
SASSA will be rendering companies including new social grant applications, change of payment method, client care enquiries, together with the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.
In an announcement, the agency said it can be alarmed with regards to the higher range of people relying on social grants for survival.
“The intention from the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out to your higher amount of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.
“That is because of the lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there is no absolutely functional office committed to service the area on a regular basis. The support issue made for intervention experiences a large inflow of potential beneficiaries, which makes it challenging for that Workplace to attend to all people who visit a service point.
“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise additional sources to empower the servicing of all prospects and improve entry to Social Assistance status sassa expert services,” the agency said.
